Ziplock Omelette

1 Ziplock freezer bag
2 lg or xlg eggs
your choice of additives (for more than one omelette, an indelible marker to identify which one is which)

Break the eggs into the freezer bag. Add your favorite ingredients. Shake to mix

Remove any air from the bag and zip shut. (At this point, you could freeze them for kids snacks. etc.).

Place in boiling water and boil for 13 minutes.

Unzip and the omelette will roll out in a suitably fancy-restaurant style....

Eat.

YUM!

Um . . . why not just cook it all in a frying pan? You know, like NORMAL?

1) if you are camping and don't want to carry around a frying pan (you only need a pot which is lighter and can be used for all your cooking
2) if you are camoping and don't want to clean a greasy pan
3) if you are camping or have limited space, you can put anything else that needs boiling in the same pan easing cleanup
4) if you have kids, you don't have to worry about them using a hot, heavy frying pan. Ift also means that you can portion out the ingredients and so they don't make a mess
5) great fun for kids' parties
6) no added fat....

... Oh... and the ability to freeze them ahead of time for both camping and for quick, no-mess meals....
