Leading Polish Surrealist artist Zdzislaw Beksinski has been found dead by relatives, in his Warsaw home. He had been stabbed numerous times.
Born in Sanok, Poland in1929, Beksinski. He trained as an architect and until he became a full-time artist, worked as a construction supervisor, a job he hated. Once he moved into the artistic world, he came to critical acclaim as a photographer and, later, with his drawings.
